While studying history and economics at Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania, Christopher K. Norton served as captain of the school’s varsity lacrosse team. After earning his bachelor of arts in 1980, he embarked on a career in finance that included 18 years as a partner with the New York City offices of Goldman Sachs. This position placed Christopher K. Norton in charge of financial product teams in Europe and Asia as well as New York.
Beyond financial product management, Mr. Norton’s areas of expertise include fixed income trading and global government bonds. He also excels at strategic business development.
Christopher K. Norton has a history of service with the nonprofit Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars. Beginning his involvement with the Washington Center as an appointee to its board of trustees in 2003, he became the organization’s third president in 2016. He also served the Washington Center as vice chair of its executive committee and chair of its strategic planning committee.
